Notice period for leaving job

Question

I am working with an MNC and on my joining i was asked to sign an agreement where it was mentioned that If I want to leave the company I will have to serve them 30 days notice but there was no mention of anything when the company would want to dismiss me. Now the employer is asking me to leave on immediate basis without providing me any reasons. can i claim this 30 days notice from the company??

    First of all do a detailed reading of appointment letter or if there is some agreement by the company regarding the rules and provisions, usually there are clauses in the agreement regarding terminating of service or individual resigning. If company ask you to leave without notice then its liable to pay compensation or a months salary usually. And in the releving letter you can ask the company to give you reason of your removal.
