Dear Sir/Mam,

I have recently attempted to verify the additional charges to reschedule my flight ticket on Spicejet portal – The intention is not to reschedule and hence, picked a random date to verify charges. However, towards the payment page, when I clicked on continue to see the final value of the amount that I need to pay, the ticket got automatically booked with the random date I picked. In the page prior to the payment page, it was showing 3,642 as the payment and I clicked continue to verify the final charges applicable.

I have approached Spicejet informing them about the bug in their portal – However, I got evasive responses. They did not answer my queries about the issue in the portal of allowing it to click on continue without notifying about the waiver of charges. They did not answer to my question about despite showing the charges on the prior payment page, instead of going to a payment portal with the charges, it automatically booked.

They responded saying that the waiver of charges is mentioned somewhere (FAQs section) in the portal and I should have read it before clicking on continue – I believe that is unfair expectations.

Hence, I wanted to pursue legal option to sue them – If you suggest, whether I would be able to take any action on them, please do suggest and I am okay to pay the necessary consultation charges.
