I’m the Chairman of the Society and during SGM 2018 society passed a resolution that conveyance amount was 5.88 lakhs but the total amount paid till now is 8.7 lakhs so society members are saying that all 3 committee members will pay equal amount to settle this dispute. But corona happened and there was no SGM after that but now i have sold my flat but the buyer needs Noc from society for home loan but secretary spoke to the advocate who was assigned to give conveyance and he says that the Society members will decide to give noc or not. Is this true and what are my options

If you were a member at that time, the society without resolving the dispute will not give NOC for the new buyer. if the order has been passed by the society asking all the members to pay equal amount, either you can challenge that order before the Registrar of Societies or get a meeting convened and resolve the dispute. if the society is not ready then you will have to approach the Registrar of Societies against the order passed for making the payment if you havent made or do not want to make the payment as directed.
