Your entitlement to the land which has been acquired by the government would depend upon the terms and conditions of the lease. If that lease was effectively sale, then you may not be able to claim anything however if the land is standing in the name of your father as of today, you would be entitled. Unless the lease deed and its terms and conditions are perused, it is not possible to give the best advice. contact the team at Instalegal for such property matters with full documents to get expert advice from property lawyers.
