Dear SirI have a industrial shed on rent for the past 40years, The landlord has never allowed to repair the shed and it is in depleted condition.. We havent used the place for long due to this. & When going to take out our belonging they refused us entry to our premises. & Also refused rent for past 9 years eventhough we sent the payment by money order. Ours is a registered unit and we are paying Electric bills even now.. We recieved a lawyers notice yesterday asking us to pay rent and vacate the premises in 7 days, else they would thrown everything out and if anything found illegal, onus is on us. They even claim since our property is in depleted conditions, neighbours have complained about it.. they wanted to contact us but We wanted them to sit across and deal with us which they neglected soo long .. kindly advise.

  1. File a petition before the rent controller of your area claiming your belonging from the landlord. Suitably respond to the legal notice and file a police complaint on the landlord. The landlord anyways cannot throw your things out without your permission if you are still tenant and paying your bills regularly. plus when you file a petition, you can seek direction to the landlord for preparing the shed. contact the team at InstaLegal for a suit response to be sent to the Legal Notice received by you. The expert lawyers shall guide you accordingly.
