Hi Sir if my ex employer(A) files an FIR on me will it effect my current job considering I have not shown experience for the ex employer(A)in my current company and what will happen if I change company in future ?

When I was about to return my laptop I mistkenly gave it to a different courier who came to pick up my faulty headset and now that courier not helping me to trace the laptop and my company wants to file FIR on me however I have not kept that laptop with me neither I have proof that I have given to that person .

    If your ex-employer has filed an FIR, the question whether it would affect your future employment is not dependent on the fact that you have not disclosed regarding the case or the previous employment however it is totally dependent on the facts of the FIR, if the FIR is for data theft, it may have future repercussions if you are chargesheeted and convicted.
