A customer is refusing payment after taking services. Can i file a case?

I run an interior design company and have done the interiors for a customer. He is now refusing to pay more than 1 lakh rupees.

    If you have any written agreement with you then you can straight away file a suit for recovery in the civil court however if no written agreement is there then in that case, it is advisable to first send a legal notice demanding your payment to be made within a period of 30 days whereafter you can file a suit for recovery.
