Planning to buy 3rd floor in West delhi, building without parking and lift 100sqyd( part of 200sqyd). Is map approval mandatory? And what all documents needs to be asked from seller. In case of bank loan, bank would take up due diligence but is it ok to hire an independent lawyer as well from buyers side?

It is must to hire an independent property lawyer to do the due diligence. Once you hire a lawyer, he would prepare your entire file for the documents required for the sale to push through. documentation differ from transaction to transaction and as per the nature of the property as well.
