Hi , I am from Tamilnadu, My father was a businessman. He pledged my husband’s house and his house got an overdraft from the bank. We don’t have any relation with this business. As a help, we gave our house document. But unfortunately, my father died in an accident and my brother and mother couldn’t pay the money back. So the bank sent a notice to us. So my husband paid back the money for his house and the bank released the house. But now, the court has undertaken my father’s house for the remaining debt. and still, they keep my husband and my name on the legal papers. What is the next step? How can my husband and I come out of this issue? Please help me.

without going through the terms of the mortgage or the overdraft facility and the terms of release of your husband house, it is not possible to provide you the best guidance however in your situation, it seems that mere mention of your husband may not be relevant however the bank to recover its money can ask you to pay from any property inherited from your father.
