Correction of DOB in 10th CBSE certificates.

Question

I am Meenu Sukumaran. I have completed my secondary education from the Central Board of Secondary Education in the year 2006. My actual date of birth is “18-12-1989”, but it was mentioned in my 10th certificate as 18-12-1990. I have tried to correct the DOB on receipt of the certificate and informed my school regarding this. But I didn’t get any proper guidance for resolving this issue. How can I change my DOB in my certificate?

    When did you approach your school authorities or the CBSE in writing regarding the wrong date of birth mentioned in your certificate? what there any written response received on your written complaint?

    if you havent raised a written request then the only way to get your DOB changed is by way of filling a civil suit and on the basis of the decree, get the correction done in the certificate.
