6. Sibling 2 is widowed.
7. Sibling 1 has tried to delay and obstruct the approval of this pension by way of intimidation/ Bribing various government officials and providing misinformation to the government broadcasting firm.
8. Sibling 1’s second marriage was done at a temple following hindu marriage tradition and is recorded in temple records of which defense has obtained a copy of . Queries :
1. Taking into account sibling ‘s affinity to intimidate etc , how do I legally protect myself and sibling 2 from future malicious attempts ?
2. Even though the government broadcasting firm’s legal team has stated the case is in sibling 2’s favour what further attacks can i protect/ expect against in relation to this matter ?
3. I plan to purse career opportunities leaving sibling 2 in India when I do so . What steps do i take to protect them against further harrasment?
4. Thoughts on sibling 1’s second marriage validity claims ?

Your opinion on the outcome of this case

Answer ( 1 )

  1. 1. File a police complaint and if the police does not take any action on your complaint against sibling 1, file a private complaint before the Magistrate seeking protection of life and liberty at the hands of sibling 1 who has been threatening to kill etc.
    2. Do not believe the words of the government officials unless you get an order in your hand finalising the pension in favour of sibling2.
    3. Once you do as advised in step1, sibling 2 should be safe and for any infringment of her right, law shall protect when she moves an appropriate application. install CCTV at home and nearby surrounding. install GPS in sibling 2 mobile and download an application which records all incoming calls automatically.
    4. the outcome as per law should be in favour of sibling 2 and even otherwise if the dependents are two in number, it shall be equally divided if required.
