Legal rights of daughter
Question
My husband inherited property from his father and some property from his brother who relinquished his share in my husband’s favour in Delhi.
I stay in Bangalore with my daughter who is 25 years old I want to know what are her legal rights in the property

The daughter has right in the properties of her father which are ancestral in nature by way of having taken birth from his wedlock however in the self acquired properties, if the father dies intestate, then she will have equal share with class 1 legal heirs otherwise if the properties are disposed off by way of any kind of testament, then the daughter will not be able to claim anything from self acquired properties.
