Intending to seek divorce and maintenance for child

Question

I am married for around 5 years, during which my husband and in-laws has always gaslighted me and mentally harrassed me and are greedy for my salary. Me and my parents have tried to intervene and tried to make things better multiple times, but we kind of failed, as my husband and his family have no interest in me and my pain, their only motive is my money. Now I have a 5 month old son and I am at my maternal home. My monthly salary is much higher than my husband, in this situation can I get a one-time lumsum amount maintenance for my child. Also I want to keep my child’s custody forever and dont want to give even meeting rights to his father, because they will brainwash my child against me gradually. He has not come to my place to see the child after birth and neither his parents have done any rituals after the birth of my son. They are asking for mutual divorce from me without any payment and streedhan. Their family have assets worth 3-4 crores and my maternal family have assets worth 1-2 crores. Also my concern is that after this year’s increment, my salary has raised and I dont want my husband and in-laws to know my salary, because they wont give me divorce after knowing my salary. Me and my parents have been asking for mutual divorce from them since last 2 years, but they did not gave, and then when I got pregnant, me and my parents felt that after the birth of child there will be some improvement in their behavior and they will shower me with love and care, but vice-versa happened and they tried to me put me more down and down. Please advice what should I do.

    1. Regarding divorce: you can go for mutual divorce but do not give away the right of the child to be maintained by the father in your mutual divorce terms. If you do not want any penny for yourself, your child has a right/share in the ancestral properties of his father as well as maintenance from his father.
    2. Regarding custody: A child has a right to meet and know his father, that choice can be made by him when he starts understanding the things however a father has a legal right to meet and get a bond with his child.
