can govt take back it’s property that sold on lease to someone?
Question
Govt passed a bill to take back the property if more than one has been bought on lease by someone. The bill was passed way before the owner made the will to another. And the property is still in the first owner’s name, the new owner hasn’t probated the will till now. If a govt lease plot holder dies and made a will for the same property to another, can govt take back the property from the now-will holder who is the new owner?

Unless the new policy which has come into place is read in conjunction with your facts as regards when the property was purchased on lease etc., it is not proper to give you the best advice. if the terms says irrespective of selling off the property etc after purchasing it on lease, the property can be taken back by the government after refunding the amount taken for the sale.
