    The Relinquishment deed and POA is valid if the same is excuted before the revenue authorities/sub-registrar at the place where the property is situated. the POA can be registered in Maharashtra but for executing the Relinquishment deed, it is advisable to do it at the place where the property is located and get the mutation/jamabandi/municipal records updated on the basis of the same.
