Dearness Allowance for Private Sector

Question

Is it mandatory for the contractor company to detect Dearness Allowance wages from the client company? If the Client company cannot pay the DA what’s the consequence?

    It is not mandatory for a private company to pay Dearness allowance. further, dearness allowance is paid to an employee due to increase in inflation, it is not deducted from the salary rather added to the salary
