Divorce at the age of 55. What will she get?

Question

My mother has been physically abused by my father all her life, I want her to get a divorce. Is it possible? He has never given her any money, I want to suck him dry for that. How can I do that?

    Your mother can file case under the domestic violence act against her husband and claimed her rights from him. If she was tortured and malterated by her husaband then she can nove comolaint to the police . And if she want divorce then she can file pettion for divorce inthe court and claim mainteance from him. She can also filed perition under section 125 crpc  for maintainace. Your mother have lot of legal remedies but u have to decide at this stage for life  what js the best option for her.

    your mom can file divorce petition as well DV Case against your father on ground of mental harassment

    As well you can file  Domestic Violence complainant against your father in your nearest police station this well help you in your  divorce case
