Does Undertaking on Stamp paper creates problem in future?

Question

Recently I received email fro an IP law firm that I have violated their clients Intellectual Property rights. But I had violated it Unintentionally, so they asked for Undertaking letter that I won’t repeat it again. So does Undertaking letter affects me in future or can I provide it?

    You can provide it, there is no harm. However if unintentionally you repeat such mistakes in the future, such undertaking will be used by them to show that you are habitual in violating the law.
