My wife filed a DV case against me in Sep 2020 and from there on there are adjournments every fortnight. I have a daughter aged 5. The prayer in the petition is compensation of Rs 25 lakh for her and my daughter. Now i do not have any movable or immovable property in my name.However i am employed. My wife has mentioned my father and mother as respondents as well in the petition. My father and mother have self acquired properties in their name. Will it be mandatory for my parents to compensate my wife and daughter based on their self aquired property or is it just my responsibility based on my income out of my employment. Please advise. Thank you.
