Employement contract

Question

Hii am service provider in a us based firm that follows indian rules for as as we are in india. I have 3 years contract but i want to resign in 1.5 years. But i have huge buyout amount and 3 months notice. I told them i cant gove buyout and can work 1 month notice free as buyout. They themselves have not given some components of contract. But they still want me honour the contract. Can they still take legal action?

    Without looking at the terms and conditions of your employment, it would not be the best advice here however based on the limited information given here, you are adviced to negotiate and if nothing works out, challenge the terms and conditions to be unreasonable as per indian law. furthermore, if you have signed a contract for a period of 3 years, the employer is at liberty to seek damages if you are breaching the terms of contract willingly signed by you for getting the training etc from your current employer.
