I have resigned and serving my notice period , I have complted half of my notice period , my HR is now threatening me to initiate PIP if I dont accept there early release date . My question is can my employer terminate me or initiate PIP while I am serving my notice period.

    The answer to your question would depend upon the terms and conditions of your employment. Kindly go through the terms of employment. if there is a clause that your employment can be terminated at any time then the employer is within its right to release you at a early date while serving the notice period. The threat, if any, is not necessary to be given in such circumstances.
