Hi if a person own agricultural property in UP, & later on sold the same, after 6 months if he intends to buy agricultural property in Maharastra. Will he eligible for it & whether he is still been treated as framer, as he earlier use to hold agricultural property

In Maharashtra, only a farmer or a person belonging to a agriculturist family can purchase an agricultural land. If your forefathers are still farmers, the tag of farmer is not taken away from you because u sold your earlier farming land.
