House sale query

Hello,

I own a house in the district of Murshidabad, West bengal. From the last 20 years I have a tenant staying in this house and I have come into term to sell that house to that tenant. Now adjacent to my house their lives my maternal uncle. Now I just wanted to know that am I allowed to sell my house to anyone with my wish or is there any law in India that we have to give the priorty to neighbours and ask whether they would like to buy.
Kindly answer to my question, your help and cooperation will be appreciated.

    No the self acquired property can be disposed off by the owner as per their own wish and desire however if the property came to you by way of division through the ancestral property and in the adjoining land, your uncle is living, then it is advisable if you want to keep the property in the same family to offer the house to your uncle on the same price as being sold by you to the tenant. however if their is no Will or any document putting that condition before the disposal of the property by way of sale takes places, there is no obligation to offer the house to your uncle living in adjoining plot.
