I have bought a revenue site of 2700 sqft from a land developer in 2018. I got the plot registered under my name.Now in 2023 i get to know the person in the mother deed who sold the land in 1949 is not the actual owner. And the original owner or his family members is going to file a case

    If fraud has been committed, you can file a criminal case against the seller.
    Further, if the original owner is filling a case and challenging the sale deed, you are required to defend your title through the advocate since you are a bonafide purchaser. You would also need to file a counterclaim for refund of your money in the eventuality the suit is decreed and sale is set aside on the ground of fraud.
