If you have informed him regarding your exit after one month, in such case, you are not legally bound to stay at the landlord’s premises and evict the premises. If the landlord is not issuing you the refund of the security amount, dont pay for the last month and issue him a legal notice through the advocate. You may also approach lok adalat for settlement of your dispute if there is a written agreement between you and the landlord.
