Law against removing clothes and searching.
Question
I got to know a story of a person who was caught stealing in a shopping center…The item was well below 1000 rs…In this matter the mall authorities searched him with all his clothes off(only underwear).Is ths completely legal before the law..?

No that is not legal as the shop persons had to call the police personnel and seek their assistance. such humiliation even if they have a reason to believe that this individual must have stolen some article from the shop is not warranted and a complaint against such shop person can be filed for publicly defaming and humiliating the accused person.
