I am currently working in a Computer Hardware Company in Delhi. At the time hiring the HR had asked me to sign the offer letter which mentioned a notice period of 3 months for resignation. It has been just a month and I have to leave owing to personal reasons. Therefore I submitted the resignation letter giving the management the 2 weeks notice. However, the company insists that I need to serve the complete notice period. What could be done?
If you have agreed for the terms andconditins mentioned in your appointment letter then you have to comply with the same otherwise your employer can claim damages as per terms and conditions of your appointment letter.
