Hello

I’m Divija ,22yr old I want to move out of my house because of my parents opposition towards my career choices but I fear my parents would would bring me back they always tell me they would file a complaint on me if I did so .

So what legal measures can I take to ensure my safety.

    You will have to seek police protection if your parents are forcing you to live with them for any reason whatsoever. after the age of being major in the country, you can make your decisions legally. Make a representation to the SHO of the nearest police station seeking protection from your parents for whatever reasons are there. if the police fails to take any action against your parents, you have an option to approach the court seeking protection of your life and liberty against your parents by filling a petition.
