    For Legal Heir certificate, you will have to apply to the Mandal Office in the prescribed format with all the necessary documents mentioned in the said application. it is known as succession certificate. once the application is accepted, an inquiry is conducted to ascertain the facts mentioned in the said application. an inquiry is usually conducted by taluka officer of the concerned district where the property is situated.

    There is second option. Apply for succession certificate in the court of civil judge of your area by mentioning d details of legal heirs in your application. After issuing notice to general public it would be issued to you.
