Matrimonial dispute between husband and wife

Question

My marriage was solemnized in India in the year 2016. We husband and wife both are indian citizens and live in India for 3 years. Thereafter, I shifted to Canada along with my wife on the basis of PR. However, after 2 months remained with me in Canada my wife left my company and started living separately from.me. despite various requests she had not joined my company funding no other way, I filed divorce petition in Canada in which my wife appeared and gave consent for divorce by reserving her right on my property . Finally divorce granted by foreign court. Whether the divorce granted by the foreign court is legal and valid in india.?
Can I on the basis of divorce decree passed by foreign court solemnize second marriage?

Yes the divorce obtained in canada is valid in India and you can perform second marriage. For property rights, she has other remedies. The canadian courts also recognise the divorce granted by indian courts.
