My husband has hit me second time in last six months….. First time he slapped me ten times….. I didnt report anywhere… But now today… He did it again….. I have a 5 year old daughter too… This is 10 th year of my marriage… Please advise… What all options i have

My huband has hit me second time in last six months.. First time it was ten slaps. I have a 5 year old daughter. What all i can do.
Fisrt time i didn’t report to anyone. But this thing is getting worst day by day.

If your husband is beating you, you first needs to decide if you want to report the matter to the elders of the family. if the matter can be settled with the able guidance of the elders of the family, then you need not approach the police or mahila aayog. however if there is no change and you dont want to file a police complaint then it is advisable to report the domestic violence to the Mahila Ayog in your area who would thereafter call your husband and try to settle the dispute between you both. If nothing works out through this then next time when your husband hits you, call the police and get yourself medically examined for the complaint to be filed against him before the police.
