Police not sharing the police complaint given by my wife

My wife left my home 6months back normally informing that she will return back after ashadam, she didnot return till date.
My wife has given a false written complaint on me in Police station 3months back, and police called me for counselling and at the end of the counselling session she informed that she fears to join me. She has not filed a case but gave a written complaint. I have been requesting Police to share the police Complaint, they have been delaying the matter for 3months now asking me to come at a different time but not sharing the complaint copy with me. They are even telling that my wife filed an oral complaint and its not a written complaint. I have seen the complaint with the inspector when i was called over phone for the first time.
Please guide me what can be done to get the police complaint filed on me by my wife. I have requested the same under RTI, but they have not shared the complaint copy or the counselling report. They just informed there is no case filed. please guide.

If the police is saying there is no case then may be that your wife did not make a written complaint and on the oral complaint, to find out the truth, the mediation counselling etc was done. you may approach the senior officer to whom the Investigating officer was reporting to find out if in fact no written complaint was made etc.
if in the RTI they do not provide you with the copy of the proceedings, make an appeal against the refusal order. contact the team at instalegal with all the documents etc and the chronological events for better advice.
