My wife a working IT professional earning good, left my company after 6months of marriage and she informed from maternal home that she is not interested and wanted to dissolve marriage. I issued legal notice to restitute conjugal relationship, she responded with allegations and suggested to dissolve marriage, returning all the gifts and pay marriage expenses and compensation of 30 lacs and also informed there is no room for any compromise for restitution of conjugal rights and told to settle the matter out of the court. I responded to her notice denying all the allegations and asked her to resolve disputes through mediation to restitute conjugal relationship. She went to police station and filed a complaint against me and my family. Then i filed for divorce in the court. My wife filed counter petition asking to dismiss the divorce petition. There is no fault of mine, it was my wife unilateral decision to dissolve. Wanted to know how will the case move forward and in how much time i can get divorce. No dowry taken, together for less than 6months after marriage and she is high earning professional. please guide.
