Possible outvome related to documents

Question

I received property documents in behalf of my company using general authorization board resolution and handed over the same documents to a person told by my boss and I worte a mail from my official maid ID that I have submitted this documents to him and he replied ok, I also forwarded this mail to Mt personal mail ID, for future reference, can I be hold responsible for the documents in future even after I wrote a mail for this. And if yes what I can do better right now

    No you may not be held responsible for the documents unless the person who has received the documents questioned the receiving and genuineness of the documents delivered by you. Were the documents in some kind of seal cover? If Yes, then the non-tampering of the seal would be relevant for you. Further, once the sender has acknowledge receipt from the original receiver, the chances of you getting trapped are less.
