Property issue – Newdelhi
Question
We live in a joint property with families living at their portion which were assigned originally without any mention or legal ownership.
They have legal heir certificate.
One family is selling their portion to a 3rd person.
After they sell, can we challenge in court and show interest to buy that portion or part of that portion from court for the same price.
They haven’t taken NOC from other families

If one family wants to sell their share then they have to take noc from other legal heirs because as you stated that the property is not partitioned in documents. Only there is oral partitioned. So if one family is selling the property then you can challenge the action in court. But you cannot purchase the property through court in your name.
