Registration of house from seller to buyer

Question

My father had bought a house 17 years ago from our village (mohana) with proper documentation….nd the house is registered on my father’s name …but in registry offc it shows….that our house is under the name of our seller till now…..so what is the procedure for onln registration…we have all the documents which said the house is in under of my father….is there any chance of we are gonna getting into any trouble?

  1. If the House is still shown to be in the name of the seller, that would mean that the sale deed has not been registered or if the same has been registered then the revenue records need to be corrected. if the name of the seller continues, the chances are that the Legal representatives of the seller can claim that the property was never sold, another chance would be that the seller himself cheats you by re-selling the property by showing to another buyer that this property is in his possession. So visit the revenue/MC office as per the location of the property and get the same mutated in your father name at the earliest.

  2. After registration of the house on your father name it must show such on the relevant record if such would not be you must have to do such work, where such procedure to do such, that the house started to show on your father’s name.
