Relative Child Adoption – Muslim

Question

I am from India (Karnataka) and currently staying with my wife in Saudi Araba. We are married for 15 years without any kids. We are planning to adopt 2-Year old baby girl of my wife cousin with everyone’s consent.

Kindly advise me the procedure and time frame for the entire process. No documentation has been done yet. Can I adopt by completing and signing Registered Adoption deed.

    Yes, you can adopt by making a Adoption Deed as per law and getting the same registered either in India if the child is currently resident of India or in south africa as per the Laws of adoption in south africa.
