Shared property right of husband and wife if applies for divorce

Question

My husband hit me very badly due to family issues regarding third person. He hit me with an iron pipe where in I was injured badly however no fracture on my body. I only filed case under 324 CRPC and later on a promise from my FIL through mediator that we will come for discussion and they both will live together. After withdrawal of complaint they never turned back and we called continuously and in final discussion for filing case my husband wrote on 20/- stamp paper if I sign only will live with me, elders didn’t make me to read as I wanted to live with him. I did that and later he demanded an sorry by pleading his parents by touching their feet which I did even after that his mother reaction towards me is not good sign where in I can not stay with her. Now he put an condition that he wants to sell that shared property which I have to sign at the time of sale. Now how I stop him from selling that house. House bought it with down payment of the amount which is marriage gift to me from my parents and rest is with his salary on every month EMI basis

If you do not want to sell the property then you can ask him to refund the money which was put up as down payment and put it as a FD in your account. If he says you have signed on the agreement then such agreement which was against your interest and signed under the influence of others can be challenged. You can approach the Police and seek protection if harassment continues only for the reason of signing on the sale document. It seems they are trying to dispose off everything received from your parents so that in future you cannot claim anything once they seek divorce from you so make your decisions wisely.
