I am a French citizen, working in India since 2010. I was married in France and divorced in 1985. on April 28th 2022, I get married in Mumbai. My spouse is Indian citizen. We had a christian marriage ceremony and got our church wedding certificate
we would like now to go for court wedding or marriage registration, then get an apostille of the India civil marriage certificate, so our marriage will be registerd and recognized in both countries, India and France

so what is the correct option for us ? Court wedding or wedding registration ? we are confused
please help us!

    Best option would be to get your marriage registered. You must declare your previous divorce and attach the divorce decree passed by the France Court with the affidavit which is a mandatory requirement.
