I need help urgently. I applied for a job where I was asked to pay a Rs1,500 registration fee. Before making the payment, I was assured that it would be the only fee required. However, the next day, I was told that I needed to purchase products worth RS8,000 to start working. Since I couldn’t afford it, I declined. Now, when I asked for a refund, the person is not responding. What should I do? Please help.

It is not clear in your factual narration as to whether you had signed any agreement before making the said payment. If none, you are advised to approach the police and inform them of the fraud being committed by making you believe that they will get you job however now asking you to make payment again and again.
