Consumer complaint jurisdiction?

Question

I had ordered 200 lunch box from a company situated at hamirpur. The order was color specific i.e. blue-white and pink-yellow combination. The delivery was made but we found the quality compromised and the colour was also not adhered too. I am at rohtak. Can i file a consumer complaint at rohtak?

    Yes you can file a consumer complaint at Rohtak however first you have to see if you are covered under the consumer protection act or not. if you had bought the lunch boxes for further sale and not for personal consumption then in that case you are not a consumer and you cannot file a case in the consumer court. it is advisable to issue a legal notice before filling any civil case for recovery of money as well.
