i bought HP laptop 7 yrs ago (price around 50,000rs). 3 yrs. ago key board was changed. Now some problem was there with key board, some keys were not working. I went to HP service centre near me. They changed key board for 4000 rs. Next day i noticed still some keys were not working. I took my lap top again to them. Now while changing key board they damaged motherboard of my laptop and they are not retuning my laptop. They are offering me old repaired laptop, for which they are asking me to apt 16,000rs.

If you have enough evidence that the mother board has been damaged by them during the repair and the same was under warranty then you can send a legal notice to them to replace the motherboard and repair the keyboard accordingly. if they dont do it, then it is advisable to file a consumer complaint against the company and the service provider of the company who damaged the mother board. they cannot refuse to return the damaged product. Hence insist to get the product back. record the conversation, if possible, make a video to show the behaviour of the customer centre if required.
