Society not updating my name and not updating record
Question
I have purchase flat in housing society in 2018 in Pune’s wagholi.The flat is on my name, I have all doc’s. but in society the name is not updated and they are not updatig it intensionaly on Chairman advice I guess.. I also paid a maintenance they are not depositing in my name and I am receiving wrong demand latter of whooping amount. Help me how the legal way I get my name updated and get all amount updated to come out of defaulter list.The demand letter also they sent on previous owners name.

You would need to speak to the previous owner if there is any kind of dues pending by him to be paid. The Society cannot proceed until the dues are cleared of the previous owner. There is some payment that is required to be made for changing the name of the owner, have you done that?
If there is total compliance on your end, then you can approach the Registrar making a complaint if the society is having a registered RWA. On the other hand, a legal notice is required to be sent to the society for non-compliance and deficiency of service. If there is total compliance on your end, then they cannot keep the flat owner be it the previous owner in the defaulter list.
