I have ordered product (books) from app named ShopClues and their is nothing mentioned in front interface that this books are soft copies not hard one. I Didn’t receive any soft (pdf) copy of books or any hard copy.Customer care executive blaming me that you have to check the description before order any product . But i think it is their duty to mention in front that they are selling soft copy of books .When i talked to their customer care they told me that they are inable to refund me . Does i have to lodge case on them or not.

If you have not received even the soft copy of the books then issue them a legal notice through an advocate for refund of your money and simultaneously you can initiate a criminal complaint also for not providing the item after taking money from you.
after the issuance of legal notice, file a consumer complaint against the website through proper evidence giving the screen shots of the description given by them on the website showing no mention of ebook. the consumer court shall on the basis of evidence grant you compensation for harassment, litigation and issue you refund as well.
