refund from university

I am saranya from India enrolled in IU (Germany) in march 2024 through third party agent .i want to cancel/withdraw the contract with IU due to medical and financial reasons ,I haven’t started my semester yet. I asked to my third party agent they were saying its not possible to dropout from the program . third party were saying we have paid your full tuition fee and also mentioning its impossible to get refund .they took education loan on my name and saying cant dropout from this program and will not refund when i asked IU university to send my Invoices they were not giving to me. third party were pressuring me. currently i m facing medical and financial challenges. Please help me in this situation .

Before proper advice can be given to you, it is advisable to share the terms and conditions of the contract entered with the parties as your transaction will be governed accordingly. If the loan has been advanced with your consent, it is bound to be paid by you if the terms so mentioned therein.
Cancellation etc will also be governed by the terms of the contract. If the semester has not begun but the seat has been allotted to you then in that scenario the university is required to refund the fee after charging cancellation amount as per the brochure of the admission in the university.
It is thus advisable to go through the entire terms and conditions of the admission process and the contract with third party before proceeding with any other legal advice given to you.
