I have worked in company till now served for 1year 3months, still working but submitted resignation letter to manager & supervisor one month that may 1st will be my last date of employment. Now suddenly manager denied my resignation before 10 days of quit time. Also company has not bonded any sign with me legally when I joined. After 1year they have not given conformation letter,my colleague joined 1 month later after my joining received conformation letter very early but I not received still… In his conformation letter I read that no rules of doing notice period are mentioned there… Now I today meet with HR in head office, he kept saying they will only relieve me when manager signs my resignation letter, but at this end point of notice period(previously informed to manager & supervisor 1 month that next month is my last month of employment) manager is asking to wait for 3 more months… Why should I wait for 3 months? No help from HR department and manager keep denying notice period even after informing earliest. What should I do? If I leave then they consider it as absconding… Or else I have to wait for 3 months which is not mentioned in any of conformation letter of any staff joined with me(same batch satffs) or joined 1month late). I need to go to village dad underwent heat surgeries! Family is in crisis time but manager keep denying my resignation.. Pls I need solution for this?

If you have a medical situation, then to avoid being called an absconder, you must sent a resignation letter giving a specific date whereafter you can state that you wont be joining the office. If there is no notice period which is required to be served in that case, you may submit resignation today stating that tomorrow would be your last working day however make sure that you are not involved in any ongoing project.
