Lodging Complaint for a Faulty Product purchased in the USA

Question

I purchased an LED Television during my last visit to the USA. But after I returned back the television stopped working. How do I lodge a complaint about a faulty device which is brought in a foreign country?

    Did you get a clearance regarding your TV at the airport? or Was it exported after placing the order Online. Some facts are required to be disclosed by you for a proper advice on the question raised. However, as regards filling of complaint against faulty goods purchased from abroad, you would be required to issue a legal notice to the company of the TV bought from meanwhile if that company has a service centre located in india then a consumer complaint can be filed in the district court claiming refund by putting the branch office in india on notice.
