Training center Harashment

Question

Dear Sir,

I hope to get training and job
Joined Training center on 21/06/2022. At the time of joining we had a discussion that by paying Rs 2,50,000/- they would hire me in 6 months.
2,50,000/- was to be paid in stages.He also took a security check from me for some money up front and the rest after getting the job done. I paid them Rs 51,000/- in 4 installments (15,000/-, 6,000/- Online 20,000/-, 10,000/- Cash). I also asked them for GST receipt but they refused and I didn’t think too much as I also wanted a job. But after a few months they said they still have to pay. As I don’t have money, I requested them to get me a job and I will deposit your remaining amount, they said that until we get more money, we will not send your resume to companies and we will not give you training certificates. In all this period 6 months passed and I returned home dejected as I was from Maharashtra and could not afford to stay .Still I have not received any certificate or job related call from them.Now he is threatening me by calling and messaging me that we will deposit your security check in the bank and take action against you.

Please suggest me what can I do?

    In such scenario the terms and conditions signed by you at the time of the agreement will have to be considered however if they deposit the cheque which was given as a security, the cheque may bounce however even if they start a cheque bounce case, there is no legally enforceable debt which is to be paid by you since on receipt of the payment, they are to get you a job. if the job is not provided, is their any provision for refund of the entire money? you will have to go through the terms and conditions of the agreement signed between the parties for which you agreed to pay Rs. 2,50,000/-. If there is no agreement, then it is advisable to make a police complaint against them for non-return of the cheque and threatening to misuse the cheque if the money is not deposited even when they are not honoring their promise.
