I rented a cab from Chandigarh to Delhi yesterday from a local company for which the driver asked for additional fare than what I had booked for  ride. Upon denial to pay the additional fare, he threatened me with dire consequences along with abusive language. I had owed Rs 1400 out of which I had paid a deposit of 500. The balance of Rs 900 is due which I refused to pay on grounds of defamation & harassment. I am receiving regular calls from the company threatening with legal consequences. However, I think I should take legal action against them for being abused physically & mentally.
