Action against an Online Travel Agent

Question

I had recently made a booking (purchase) online on an international flight from India to Singapore. Owing to Corona Virus the airlines had offered a complete refund for the cancellations however when I asked the travel agent to acknowledge the same he refused saying that the request has been rejected by airlines. However upon checking with airlines  I found out that no such request was initiated by the Travel Agent on the first place. This has been going on for some time now and there seems to be no solution. I would appreciate legal advice on the above matter.

    Firstly get in touch with the airline giving detail of the flight booked by you for which you are seeking refund. Mention to them that the travel agent is not approachable hence refund is requested to be made directly to the end consumer i.e. you.
    If that doesnt work out, you would need to shoot out a legal notice to the travel agent for the negligence and deficiency in service.     Firstly you have to approach the airlines directly for your claim and asked them to initiate the case of your refund  and refund the amount straightaway to you and if they are not settling your claim then issued legal notice for refund of your amount and if they not settled the issue then file a consumer complaint against the airline co.
    if the agent has already claim the refund form the airlines in your behalf and now refusing to pay you back then you can also file criminal complaint against them for cheating and fraud except the remedy of filing criminal complaint
